A few months ago we sent Damon our new boat nets, and let him give it a try. He happily put it to the test and sent us some awesome pictures of our new reinforced handle in use! Thanks Damon!
Damon took some beautiful shots of the new net in action. All our boat nets now come with this double reinforced area where bow meets handle. This new way of addressing the handle should put to rest a lot of concerns guides have had about the weakness where bow meets handle. Thanks again Damon for the great shots!

Bob Nelson, owner and almost sole operator of Fisknat Landing Nets was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. Bob, is married and has 2 adult children, and 4 grandchildren. He has a passion for nearly all types of fishing, and he has always loved wood working. And, pretty much by accident one day he decided to mix the two together! If you call Fisknat you wont reach any middle man, Bob takes care of all the phone calls, selling, manufacturing, shipping, and part of the sewing all by himself. Bob is very passionate about his company, and proud to say his product is hand made in America by him. These nets photograph beautifully, beacuse each net that leaves his builiding is unique piece of art.
Fisknat strives to please their customers; after we began to hear requests to add clear light weight bags to our line up, we made it happen! EVERY Fisknat net can come with either a standard black rubber net bag, or a clear rubber net bag. With Fisknat you can begin by picking the model of net that will fit your needs the best, and then move on to your handle choices, we feature a wide variety of beautiful handmade handles, you can finish off your net by picking out either a clear or black bag. The net you choose will be completley perfect for you!
Fisknat Landing nets:
Our company was established around 2001, Fisknat came into the Fly Fishing Industry ready to help change things. We have prided ourselves on making the best for everyone who purchases our nets and for the fish being caught.
Fisknat was the very first company to produce a Rubber bag wood framed landing net. About 8 years ago bob started making them for his quide friends who had complained about needing a quality rubber bag boat net. From the time that we sold our first rubber bag boat net we had so many inquiries about getting a rubber bag into all of our hand, float tube and pontoon nets.
In spring of 2002 Fisknat landing nets again made fly fishing history bringing rubber bags to all of our 16 sizes and models of wood framed landing nets. No other landing net company has yet to have a rubber bag in all of there hand, float tube, pontoon and boat nets.
LIGHT WEIGHT RUBBER BAGS, in Spring of 2005 Fisknat Landing nets had done it yet again. We have came up with a light weight rubber bag to fill all of our hand, float tube, pontoon nets and boat nets!! There is nothing else on the market like our light weight rubber bag net. It only weighs a few ounces and is very durable and fish friendly! Please feel free to email us with any inquiries about our new bags!
